Crista is a trained Intimacy Professional with Intimacy Directors and Choreographers. Her work has been featured on the West End as a part of Theresa Rebeck’s debut production of MAD HOUSE starring David Harbor and Bill Pullman. She has also worked as an Intimacy Director with The Elm Shakespeare Company, Colt Coeur Theater and Asolo Repertory Theater. She was the Assistant Artistic Director of the remount of Cirque du Soleil’s iconic show, Alegria. She worked on Little Rock (Loretto Theater) directed by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj, The Anthem (Lynn Redgrave) and TINK (The Pearl) directed by Rachel Klein and Things of Dry Hours (NYTW) directed by Ruben Santiago Hudson. 

 

As an aerialist, her work has been featured in a variety of venues and creative spaces. She was an aerial Pearl Diver in Penny Woolcock’s critically acclaimed production of Bizet’s opera, Les Pêcheurs de Perles, at both The Metropolitan Opera House and the LA Opera. She was a part of the creation of Beyonce’s Formation World Tour, and worked as an aerial double for Zendaya in The Greatest Showman, Dominique Fishback in Project Power and Nathalie Emmanuel in the 2020 Cupra Supreme Commercial Announcement. She has also collaborated on the NBCU Upfronts, Broadway Bares, Radio City’s Summer Spectacular, CABI Fall Fashion Show, and The Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards.
